Tie-breaker rules

1. Series victories
2. Buchholz score
3. Head to Head results
4. Game differential

Buchholz score:

The Buchholz score is a scoring system. This system generates a score which gets higher when a team has faced better performing teams. To calculate the buchholz score we add up all wins of the opponent a team faces and multiply that by their own number of wins. This score gets calculatesd for every team and will be used for breaking ties.

If a team has received a bye due to an uneven amount of teams participating, the buchholz system assume this team has played against a virtual opponent which has lost against this team and drew every other match. In a 6 round swiss this results in a total amount of wins of 2,5.
